2023 Meursault, Genevrières, 1er Cru, Domaine Antoine Jobard, Burgundy

The domaine has 0.35 hectares here, the vines planted in 1978 and 2022. This is a rich, lovely and lively Meursault, with an expressive nose of orchard fruits and pears with a subtle buttery note. It is creamy but really elegant, with a chalky mineral bite and wonderful freshness. There is a lot going on here, and it will be very special indeed.
