2023 Chablis, Jean-Paul & Benoît Droin, Burgundy

The Droins have been producing wine in Chablis for nearly 400 years. Benoît Droin is the fourteenth generation here, and is one of the most dynamic winemakers in the region. This is typically approachable, with a lovely smoky reduction on the nose and juicy white fruit underneath. A very attractive and giving wine that strikes a perfect balance between peachy fruit and tangy, iodine notes.
