2022 Vosne-Romanée, Les Charmes de Mazières, Domaine Guyon, Burgundy

This cuvée comes from Jean-Pierre’s oldest vines in Vosne with an average age of 70 years and 100% new wood is used. Intense black fruit on the nose with great depth and freshness. There is great lightness on the mid-palate with notes of sour cherries and prune associated with a lovely salinity. There is great energy here and the fruit is crisp and fresh.
