This offers a glimpse into the brilliance of the 2021 vintage to come. This was harvest and vinified as Brunello, spontaneously fermented in large Garbellotto barrels and kept on skins for one month before spending a further 24 months refining in oak. It has an impressive nose, with tightly wound aromatics, peach, wild fruits and small flowers, alongside bright rosemary and balsamic brightness. The palate is a marvel, with the finest of tannins: juicy but compact, with fruit charm and savoury complexity. Here, the intensity of Brunello meets Burgundian finesse.
