2021 Barolo, Francia, Giacomo Conterno, Piedmont, Italy

The legendary Giacomo Conterno make the Francia Barolo in a slightly lighter and more approachable style than some of their other wines. This is aged for approximately four years in wood. Energetic and bright, this has wonderful threads of acidity that provide a framework for the multitude of flavors: violet, pomegranate, blossom, cherry liqueur and sweet herbs.
