Valdeorras, which translates to "Valley of Gold," is located in the northwestern part of Spain, specifically in the province of Ourense in the region of Galicia and is known for producing high-quality white wines, particularly those made from the Godello grape variety. The region is characterised by a diverse landscape with steep slopes, river valleys, and granite soils, contributing to the unique terroir of Valdeorras.
