Austria
The famous anti-freeze scandal in 1985 almost destroyed the Austrian wine industry, yet today it’s in rude health. The dry, steely Rieslings are outstanding, as are the surprisingly ripe, concentrated reds and the Neusiedlersee dessert wines.
