2015 Burgundy
This vintage was a warm, dry season with relatively low yields of pristine fruit. Much like 2005, it made for wines of impressive structure and great concentration - characteristics that suggested long cellaring would be required. After more than 10 years in bottle, this has proved absolutely correct. The wines' youthful vigor has just started to fade, and they show impressive detail and complexity, allied to power.
