2024 Sancerre, Chavignol, Gerard Boulay, Loire

Gerard Boulay is famed for his old-vine plots of Sauvignon Blanc, all located in Chavignol, Sancerre. These are some of the finest examples of the grape: wonderfully pure, rich and floral. The 2024 is initially lively on the palate, with lime zest, yellow apple and kiwi notes, that soften into a full and mouthcoating finish. Refined and complex, this is an excellent Sancerre that will be best enjoyed alongside cheese.
