2023 Maranges Blanc, Les Plantes, Domaine de Cassiopée, Burgundy

Maranges is one of the Côtes de Beaune’s least-known appellations and sits right at the south of the region. The surrounding Trois Croix mountains shadow the vineyards, helping cool grapes and leading to later ripening. This results in more intense, full-bodied flavours in the wines. The Les Plantes is created from Chardonnay, and is pure and energetic, while having more structure than other whites from this young and dynamic producer.
