The nose is beguiling, with floral top notes, white stone fruit, crushed chalk, and a hint of Mirabelle plum. The palate is juicy and mouthwatering, with intense freshness and stony grip. This goes against the grain of big, bold and opulent Corton-Charlemagne; instead, it delivers a chiselled, laser-like expression that will offer huge ageing potential.
