2022 Masseto, Tuscany, Italy

Masseto is located in Tuscany’s coastal Maremma region, within the famed Tenuta dell’Ornellaia estate, and produces some of the most revered wines in all of Italy. Masseto doesn’t rely on Sangiovese, like so many other famous wines from the area: it exclusively focuses on Merlot. Production is incredibly precise, which translates through to wonderfully polished, premium wines. Rich and elaborate, the 2021 vintage has everything there is to love about Masseto wines: blueberry, black olive, violet and sage flavours, a powerful body, and an incredibly inviting bouquet.
