2022 Clos de Vougeot, Grand Cru, Domaine Jean Grivot, Burgundy

This wine is made from grapes grown in a walled vineyard dating back to the 12th century, when it was owned by the monks of Cîteaux Abbey. It has a deep ruby colour and a complex bouquet of red fruits, spices, leather and earth. On the palate, it is rich, elegant and balanced, with silky tannins and a long finish. This wine is a masterpiece that deserves to be savoured.
