2022 Chorey-lès-Beaune, Joseph Drouhin, Burgundy

The wines from Maison Joseph Drouhin are always of a high standard, but were particularly bright and intense in the 2022 vintage: full-bodied, fresh and balanced, with excellent structure and real ageing potential. The Chorey-les-Beaune has surprisingly bright aromas, with hints of blackberry jam alongside wild bramble notes, that are just now softening into truffle and forest floor tones. 20% of the blend was aged in French oak for 12-16 months.
