2022 Châteauneuf-du-Pape Rouge Cuvée Réservée Domaine du Pegau Rhône

The Cuvée Réservée is a quintessential Châteauneuf-du-Pape from Domaine de Pegau, one of the most famed wineries from this region. It’s a blend of 13 different grape varieties, led by Southern Rhône favourites Grenache, Syrah and Mourvèdre. Round, rich and powerful, this is a full-bodied wine with plenty of plum and cherry fruit, alongside complex notes of leather and sandalwood. It was aged for two years in old oak. Pair this with red grilled meat.
