2022 Bonnes Mares, Grand Cru, Domaine Bruno Clair, Burgundy

Bruno Clair created his eponymous estate in 1979, breaking away from his family estate, where he was the sixth generation of winemaker. Holdings here span most of Burgundy’s Côte d’Or. Bonnes Mares was one of the most famous Grands Crus in the 2022 vintage: rich, with blackcurrant aromas and a hint of vanilla, it has an endless finish and a charming, racy character.
