Isole e Olena is one of Tuscany’s finest wineries, and its Chianti Classico DOCG more than lives up to its reputation. Impeccably balanced and softly textured, this charming Chianti is rich with bright fruit: wild cherries, strawberries and currants, alongside spicier notes of licorice and pepper, and some floral overtones. Thanks to the 90% Sangiovese in the blend, it also has notes of dried herb, with the remaining 10% coming from Canaiolo grapes.
