2020 Puligny-Montrachet, Domaine de la Vougeraie, Burgundy

This is from Paupillots, Rue Aux Vaches and Noyer Bret. Paupillots is a newish addition (2019); the wine loses its biodynamic status until it becomes certified. All three wines are made separately and blended after fermentation. There’s some honey on the nose and an open, concentrated palate with good freshness. The wine’s generous and ripe texture defines it. Drink 2023-2032.
