2020 Meursault, Les Tessons, Pierre Morey, Burgundy

The Morey family’s origins in Burgundy can be traced back to at least the sixteenth century. The estate has been certified biodynamic since 1997, and today spans 10 hectares of different parcels across Monthelie, Pommard, Puligny-Montrachet and Meursault – where its most famous holdings lie. The 2020 Les Tessons has impressive weight, with a slightly yeasty nose and a lightly spiced finish, alongside typical notes of ripe citrus and rounded stone fruits.
