2020 Berry Bros. & Rudd St Julien by Château Branaire-Ducru, Bordeaux

We’re delighted to continue our partnership with Château Branaire-Ducru for a second vintage of our St Julien. This Cabernet Sauvignon-dominant blend is perfumed with crushed blackcurrants and violets and a subtle lift of raspberry leaf and menthol. The palate is juicy and fruit-driven, with plump hedgerow fruit softening the layers of crunchy blackcurrants. There is a lovely freshness running through the wine. This provides a wonderful introduction to the classic and elegant style for which the château is known, while being wholly approachable and ready to enjoy now.
