2019 Puligny-Montrachet, Domaine de la Vougeraie, Burgundy

This year sees the addition of 0.33 hectares from Paupillots, added to parcels from Rue Aux Vaches and Noyer Bret. The new vineyard is neither organic nor biodynamic yet; the wine temporarily loses that status. All three wines are made separately. The blended result is mineral and tight, rather fine for a village, and in no way immediate. Drink 2022-2030.
