Rugiens is arguably Pommard's best vineyard, its class is bursting at the seams in this wine. The warmer summer suits it well: a riper element has emerged alongside the more familiar iron and muscle notes. Juicy for Pommard, the wine is succulent and creamy, with notes of blackcurrant coulis. It's complex, expressive, and really good.
