2019 Bourgogne Hautes-Côtes de Nuits, La Corvée de Villy, Thibault Liger- Belair, Burgundy

 A dry, windy spot on the plateau de Chaux. No whole bunch but it smells like it. Sun on the stones instead. Heady peonies and slightly over-ripe raspberries. But rather lovely to finish, when the fruit seems to come into a better balance and tastes sunny more than over-ripe. Tasted Nov 2020.
