This historic vineyard is amongst the most esteemed in Barolo, with a mixture of Tortonian and Helvetian soils that add a unique complexity and richness to every wine grown here. These soils also have a high sand content, which encourages intensity of aromas that are fruity when young, and evolve into spicier notes with age. Dry, tannic and full-bodied, the Barolo Cannubi is one that will only improve with time.
