2018 Savigny-Lès-Beaune, Les Peuillets, 1er Cru, Domaine Guyon, Burgundy

This is quite a sandy vineyard, but there is no sign of stress in this wine, despite the dryness of the vintage. One of Jean-Pierre’s skills is to be able to deliver intensity from lighter soils. This is rich for a Savigny, but without losing its balance. Drink 2021-2026.
