2017 Vosne-Romanée, Domaine Guyon, Burgundy

Jean-Pierre Guyon produced an impressive range in 2017; this Vosne-Romanée perfectly encapsulates the quality of his output in this vintage. Although a relatively modest offering with respect to the wider Guyon portfolio, this cuvée still comes from vines of up to 50 years of age. The wine has a rich and smoky bouquet. The palate is compact, with a long and vivacious finish.
