2017 Puligny-Montrachet, Domaine Jacques Carillon, Burgundy

A modest 15% oak used here, the wines were racked into tank for the second winter as usual. As ever, this is a reference wine for the village of Puligny, offering a harmonious mix of citrus fruit, sizzling minerals and charming floral top notes. The blend of vineyard sites scattered across the appellation gives a very complete picture of what Puligny offers; charm, seduction and a fine, lacy texture.
