This a blend of two crus: Mariondino gives tension and elegance; Villero gives perfume, minerality and softness. Cooler fermentation in fibreglass retains elegance and finesse. Two years in oak botti and cement knit everything together in seamless complexity. The vintage lends structure and intensity. There’s molten berry, wild herbs and blood orange, with taut minerality and silky elegance.
