2013 Savigny-les-Beaune, Les Peuillets, 1er Cru, Domaine Guyon

We wouldn’t normally be looking out for this appellation but the wine is so impressive. Beautiful pure bright red colour with a lovely bright fresh raspberry nose. Really good for the vintage, especially the lovely fruit acid balance. The same wonderful substance follows on behind. It feels as if it has a Côte de Nuits touch about it.
