2013 El Dorado, BBR Exclusive Cask, 9-Year-Old, Rum, Guyana (60%)

The 9-year-old Single Barrel Rum truly warms the soul. On the nose, all of my favourite creamy and rich desserts come to mind in the form of sticky toffee pudding, Banana foster, crème caramel and everything one might laden with demerara sugar for that matter. On the palate a lovely freshness from fresh mango, orange rind and prunes that move into?tropical trail mix and juicy raisins. There is an earthy spiced undertone that lingers on the long finish.
