2013 Champagne Rare, Millésime, Brut

Champagne Rare’s wines are only produced in exceptional vintages. 2013 was characterised by a glorious summer, something Champagne had not had for quite some time prior to that. The wines of the vintage were elegant and fresh, the two hallmarks of a “classic” vintage. The 2013 Brut is incredibly pure, with some generosity from the grapes harvested from Ambonnay and Pouzy. Shiny and bright, it has plenty of green flavours and a dusting of spice.
