1999 Ruchottes-Chambertin, Clos des Ruchottes, Grand Cru, Domaine Armand Rousseau, Burgundy

Good colour. Very much better nose than that of the Clos de la Roche. Fullish body. Vigorous. Gently Oaky. Very Fine Fruit. Lots of depth. On the palate this is fresh, very classy and ripe. Good tannins. Very good grip. Very long and fine plus. FRom 2008/2009. (Clive Coates - The Vine - Feb-2002)
