Description
While there is no bricking yet in evidence it probably will not be much longer before there is. There is a touch of sous bois now present on the otherwise highly spiced and fully secondary aromas that possess plenty of earth, leather and forest floor nuances. The round, rich and still quite vibrant medium-bodied flavors possess excellent intensity and volume before terminating in a satisfying and solidly persistent finish. I would be inclined to drink this up sooner than later because while there is no dryness on the finish now I suspect that there will be some eventually. A very good if not sensational wine in the context of the vintage.
