ABOUT THE WHISKY:

Teaninich, located in the northeast Highlands, was founded in 1817. It produces malt whisky to meet high demand from blenders. Unlike other distilleries, Teaninich uses a mash filter rather than the conventional mash tun to extract the worts.

TASTING NOTES:

A weighty and confident dram, carrying its years with poise. The nose opens with marmalade, overripe apples, and a snap of lemon zest, unfolding into a warming hit of spice. Soft banana emerges, layered with sugared strawberries and a touch of white chocolate. The palate follows with caramel-soaked oak, the spice deepening, yet never overwhelming. A viscous oiliness brings cohesion, drawing everything together in a long, gently spiced finish.
