2020 Chablis, Fourchaume, Héritage, 1er Cru, Le Domaine d'Henri, Burgundy

This is from vines planted in 1937 in Ardillier, in the northern part of L’Homme Mort. It is made 40% in barrel, some in stoneware and the rest in tank. This has power, finesse, texture, freshness and complexity. Concentrated and intense, there’s still the bitterness of youth at the finish. Its layers of complexity will open with time. Drink 2025-2037.
