2022 Nuits-St Georges, Aux Herbues, Domaine Guyon, Burgundy
Description
Jean Pierre owns 0.23 hectares here which border Vosne, perhaps a reason for the floral notes often found in this cuvée. There is a lot of finesse and elegance to this year’s wine with nice concentration, and fine chalky tannins give promising structure. Vines here are up to 70 years-old.

Critics reviews
A softly wooded and exuberantly floral-suffused nose freely reveals its spicy and ripe red berry and plum scents. The rich, delicious, plush, medium-bodied flavours display good power on the lingering and slightly warm finale if not the same vibrancy.
Drink 2028
40% new wood, December bottling. A powerful, concentrated purple. The fruit is a little darker than the Gevrey, but it is not an old-style plummy Nuits-St-Georges. A lighter touch given, in any case, the more extravagant style.
