2010 Clos de la Roche, Cuvée Vieilles Vignes, Grand Cru, Domaine Ponsot, Burg

A softer more evolved colour, softly perfumed too as the wine starts to evolve gently. Discreet at the front, cherry notes, softer raspberry, orange rind, complex and multi-faceted, the orange rind reappearing at the back. Not immense in terms of body but supremely elegant. Very persistent and still showing useful acidity. The elegance continues right through to the extended finish. 13.5% alcohol.
