Description
This is a blend of fruit from across Voerzio’s holdings in the upper reaches of the Comune di La Morra, in crus like La Serra, Fossati and Case Nere. There is immediacy here: lots of floral notes and juicy fruit, all cherries and raspberries and earthy spices. This really is amazingly complex for a Comune wine, but it still finishes on a lithe, refreshing note.

94/100
A fine and linear red with dark berries, bark, mushrooms and hints of dried spice. Firm and racy tannins and a flavorful finish. Dried orange peel. Needs four or five years to soften. Best after 2026.
